Last Sunday, we went on a daytrip to Zambales to do an ocular at Casa San Miguel, venue of our next Flow:SurfYogaSamba Weekend Retreat on November 30 – December 2!
Casa San Miguel not only is a bed and breakfast, it’s a center for arts and music as well. It is a sanctuary for artists to hone their skills in music, theater and visual arts.
Upon arrival, we were greeted by this beautiful, shady, mango tree in the driveway.
Cozy rooms with artworks hanging on the walls.
A mini museum where we plan to hold yoga workshops. Love the big windows allowing natural sunlight and fresh breeze to enter the space.
Remember these sculptures at the Fort? They’re now on display in the gardens of Casa San Miguel!
Our favorite part of Casa San Miguel – The Backstage Cafe! Check out that lovely terrace with orange umbrellas, pillows, wooden benches. Inside the cafe are eames chairs and little coffee tables.
We also sampled their dishes to make sure we get the best meals for our retreat! First up, we had Angel Hair Pesto Pasta. The basil used for the pesto is freshly picked from their herb garden.
Garlic and cheese pizza. We just love that it’s thin crust!
Refreshing ginseng iced tea with honey to go with our meals.
Ended our meal with this mouth-watering Icebox Cake!
Casa San Miguel is located at Evangelista St. Barrio San Miguel, San Antonio, Zambales.
